Beleth is a mighty and terrible King of Hell with eighty-five legions of demons under his command. He rideth a warhorse, and all kinds of music announces his arrival. Beleth stealeth the love of all men and women courted by his conjurer until the mortal is satisfied. He was the first summoned after the flood by Ham, son of Noah, and did gift him knowledge of mathematics.
